Help The Little Blogger (A Network)

I mean, yes we're all doing this for ourselves, to have some output, to collect, to practice, but it's still nice to actually have somone who reads our posts and talks to us and has discussions about pancakes and unicorns and world peace.

I've honestly never seen any online platform, where it is harder to find the little ones. Well, okay, I might not entirely get this website yet, maybe I've missed a feature or something. But I'd personally love to follow more blogs on here. I'd love to get ideas and collaborate and start a little family, get a dog, have some kids, maybe we can even have a lakehouse with a view when we're old, wouldn't that be lovely, darling?

So I'm proposing: The Help The Little Blogger Network! - short The HTLB Network (what a fabulous name *cough*)


All you have to do is:

1. Comment on here and I'll add you to a list (you can even tell me 1-3 keywords, so that people know what they can expect from your blog)
2. Have a link on your blog to this page, so that people can actually find the other members (maybe even make a little post about this)
3. Maybe check back once in a while, somone with your new favourite blog might've joined!

You don't have to follow me, do that only if you like what I post, same goes for me - we're all different and not everyone likes the same things and yes we're all special snowflakes. Also I'm on a sugar high which explains a lot.

First we'll conquer the Internet and then the WORLD (or maybe the moon, it seems a lot less work, don't you think?)

90's Nostalgia

For me the 90's are a very mysterious time. I was born in them, but I remember next to nothing from them. Nothing special happened. There was no real movement, no real clothing style, no real direction, really. And yet when I think of the 90's, I think of a much simpler time. No smartphones, so you didn't have to be available ALL THE TIME. Not many computers and oh Internet??, so you had more time for other things, like actually reading a book for once. No digital cameras, every shot was important and you would put it into an album and lovingly write something under it and then it would be there for eternity. Everything was much slower and much more important.

Why this title is so unnecessarily long we'll never know, but here, have a post about a new song I've written.

So I've been trying to branch out with writing songs a bit - by which I mean not only about doctor who (ugh I know). And psst, it's a secret, but I actually don't only write lame, geeky songs, I actually write about my feelings sometimes, too. Woah. Don't really post those though

So here is a song about my little darling Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, who (like everyone on that show) just needs a hug. I loved the last episode of season 4 by the way, better than the entire season imo.

So one thing we have to imagine in this song are some violins or maybe a cello, that would fit very well. maybe an actual person who can sing
I don't like to explain my lyrics, because the things that I intended them to be, might be interpreted completely differently by someone else, and that's what I love about music (and literature and art and blah blah blah)

Why London, Why

Why London, why have you stolen my heart? I mean, it's really not fair. It's like every city since you just doesn't do it for me anymore. No one is as beautiful and as cruel as you. No one has the ability to suck you in, chew you up, and then spit you out at the most random places. No one can tell stories and sing songs the way you do. No one is as classy and as trashy as you. No one.

Oh why must you be so freakin expensive you little annoying fabulous smudge on the map.

The Fear Of Failure

I like to describe myself as a 'lazy perfectionist', which is just a nice way to say, that I won't even start something, when there's even the possibility that I won't like the results.

And I mean that's fine, when we're talking about baking a cake for example, but when we're talking about important things, like applying to universities, it's a completely different thing.

The Moon Song & The Creative Thought Process

I recorded the cover i think 1 or 2 months ago and got so many nice responses on tumblr that I just had to make a video for it.

The footage I used was not purposely taken for the video, but I think it fits well. I tried to keep it calm and sort of make a little world outside and inside the 'moon'.

The Quietest Place - The Art Assignment

A couple of months ago my lovely friend Rebekka (Bäx/Becks) helped me with an Art Assignment. It's really something else to have someone else participate in making a video, it suddenly seems more 'real'. Also I get incredibly self-concious filming outside and getting filmed by someone other than my tripod. I guess I'll have to get used to that. :3

It makes life more beautiful, you have to look twice to understand it and it makes you look at the world in a different way. So here is one of many challenges to come, that I did and that you can do too, if it sounds interesting to you.

Drawing Old Naked Men

Today I've spent most of my time looking at the tiny bits and pieces of long gone men (who probably never existed in the first place) - and I enjoyed it.

Well, to make it a bit less weird for everyone: I was at a collection of casts of (famous??) statues to draw something a bit more professional than my doctor who fanart for my portfolio.

Songs I Wish I'd Written

One sentence I never thought I'd say: I was at a strip club yesterday listening to live music.
Well okay it's a former strip club, but it still serves as a cabaret - which is, let's face it, the same thing just with more clothes.

Ready For Summer Outfits
